Quarterhorse - Beetle - Extra Large - Senior - Male - Horse
Meet Bossmaster Beetle! He is approximately 20 years old, is about 16 hands, and is a palomino quarter horse. Beetle was brought in on March xxxx through our humane department from a severe case of starvation along with four other horses. We spent many months slowly rehabilitating and re-feeding him, and although it took some time to see progress,he made a full recovery and then went to the Therapeutic Riding Center for a year where he was used in their program for more independent and taller riders. He was a great and steady mount, but can be a little mouthy with his tack when excited. The Riding Center needed to lessen their herd this fall, so Beetle needs to find a permanent home for his senior years. Beetle is suitable for trail riding and light pleasure, or to spend his time as a pasture pal. He gets along well with other horses, has a great temperament and has been handled by children ages 10+.
